Prevention and Management of Diseases of Insects
This paper, by Dr. Frank Davis and his research assistant Amanda Lawrence, teaches us how to start up a colony with disease-free livestock and how to recognize and prevent disease in our rearing operations. The photographs of wet slides of Nosema and O.e. were supplied by Amanda Lawrence. Livestock samples for the wet slide photos were donated by butterfly farmers for this project.
